What does it cost?

You have chosen a color and finish for your stone, and are ready for pricing.  Our Sales and Estimating Team will work directly with you through the beginning stages of the order process.

Bid propsal: Budget vs. EstimateQ: What do I, as a customer, need to provide Valders Stone & Marble?
A: Whether you are a homeowner or architect, providing us with a basic sketch or a set of architectural plans and specs is a great place to start.  Stone type, color, finish, thickness and dimensions, edge details, and profiles should be given to your Sales Rep at the time of the bid process.  The more information you provide will determine a more accurate quote.  Your Sales Rep or Estimator will create a bid proposal for your review and signature.  Once we receive your purchase order or signed proposal, a down payment will be required before moving forward on the order.  After receiving your down payment, the order will then be turned over to our Project Management Team.

A FEW THINGS TO KEEP IN MIND:

How to determine the start of Lead Time: When placing an order that requires drawings, lead time starts when Valders receives the approved drawings from the customer.

Budget vs. Estimate: A budget is based upon basic information at the early or preliminary stage of project planning. This process is used in deciding which material to choose. Keep in mind, a contract cannot be established based on budgetary numbers. An estimate is based on final drawings and is supported by written specs and detailed plans and drawings.
